Why are we so ashamed of mental health problems, when they affect so many of us?

The lyrics of Ian Curtis, lead singer of Joy Division, and a known sufferer of mental illness, depict the confused emotions surrounding anxiety and depression. But they are as relevant today as they were 38 years ago.
